The Ballet Nacional de Cuba made its Music Center debut with performances of its rendition of Don Quixote, under the guidance of 90-year-old founder Alicia Alonso. Choreographed by Alonso, the production showcases the troupe’s talented dancers, including its star, prima ballerina Viengsay Valdés. Dance Channel TV caught up with Ms. Valdés prior to the opening night of Don Quixote.
